This program serves children in the first grade who have been designated by the social worker at the Locust School in Marengo.  Thirteen items (easy open, need no refrigeration or heating, and are nutritious) are placed in a net bag which the social worker puts into the children's backpacks while they are attending school.  We are currently serving 30 children who take these items home so they have food on the weekend.
